Anybody out there! It's been so long since I've been on here, I'd like to think I have a good excuse....oh wait I do! We've got BIG news around here! Yep, you guessed it, I'm expecting again! Can you believe it? I couldn't! But now that we're over the shock of having 5 kids, we're so excited for our new addition that is to arrive in September. So as you can imagine blogging fell to the bottom of the list, and what went to the top...sneaking in as many nap times as possible to help me get through the nauseousness. Now that I'm feeling better here's some recent favs from some recent sessions. This post would be forever long if I added everybody that didn't make it to the blog so I narrowed it down to these...in light of our BIG news! :)

Meet my awesome sister in law (and best friend) and her adorable family! I love these guys! Our whole month of July was full of adventures with the Longneckers. From swimming, to shopping (with all seven kids), to girls night(s) out, to McDonalds, Costa Vida, and slumber parties at Grandma's! They drove all the way from Alabama and stayed for a month, we loved every minute of it! We said goodbye to them last night and my son cried himself to sleep. We miss you guys already!

Seattle/Forks Trip

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, my hubby and I went to Seattle and Forks for the weekend (yes, I'm a HUGE Twilight fan, but Ben also has a friend that moved to Forks, so we were both excited to go!) We got to Seattle and spent the day at Pike's Market, which is a total photographers haven, and went to a Mariner's game that night, it was so fun!

The next day was filled with shopping, a massage (oh ya!) and the 3 hour (or so we thought) drive to Forks! We got to experience a ferry ride, which included a 2 hour wait that we weren't planning on, but it was fun. We stopped in Port Angeles and ate at Bella Italia and watched Eclipse in the Lincoln Theater (yes, I'm a freak!) Next stop Forks! (I'll spare you all the silly pictures of me in front of all the Twilight hot spots, I'll bore my lucky facebook friends with those! :) )

LaPush baby! This was by far my favorite spot! The beach was beautiful, a little windy, but beautiful!

And here's one of us. These were a little tricky with no tripod or remote, let's just say my pants were plenty covered in sand from running back and forth!

Here's to 10 years! So excited to see what's in store for the next 10. Love ya Babe! Thanks for the fun weekend!

Meet my niece...she's a beauty. I remember when she was younger and I would take her places with my son, strangers would stop me to tell me how beautiful she was. And she still is! Not only is she beautiful, she is so much fun. Just a little side note... I brought her home with me after we took pictures for a sleep over with my kids. Well on the car ride to my house, she was telling me all the hard words she could spell. I asked her if she liked to read and she said "NO! But I really want to read Twilight!" She's eight. I turned around to give her a high five and we were talking like two little girls the rest of the way home! (If you didn't know already, I'm huge fan!) It was pretty funny. She was cracking me up! I joined other photographers last Saturday in the i heart faces photo walk. I had so much fun meeting other local photographers and taking a crack at shooting still life, which I rarely do. In fact it was so weird I kept trying to get my photog friends to model for me, but I guess us photographers like to stay behind the camera!

Summer's here! (We've been chanting "last day of school" all day around here!) Now we just need the weather to realize it's summer! I've been wanting to get out all week and take some pictures to announce my summer mini sessions...but this darn weather has held me back! But before it gets much later, I'm announcing a save the date and I will post more info on each session later. So be sure to grab a slot before they all fill up! I will be holding three mini session dates during the summer. These are perfect for updating your child's photos AND getting digital files at a great price.

My kids are such good troopers to brave the chill in the air while we were in Utah...but when you need new pictures, you need new pictures, right?! :) And my husband is a bigger trooper for coming along and helping. Senior Rep Program for 2011 Graduates

Want to be a senior rep for Tammy Hawkins Photography? Want a free photo session along with other goodies? Then here's some fabulous info for you!

I am now looking for a handful of seniors in the greater Boise area to be my senior reps. (I will only accept 2 reps per school.) As a rep you will receive a FREE photo session (with up to two locations and multiple outfit changes) plus a $50 print credit! (That's a $125 savings) All you have to do is some simple persuading of your friends to be photographed by me! Sounds easy, right?!

As a rep here's what you need to do:

Schedule your photo session in the spring or summer of 2010

Post an album on your facebook/myspace page with proofs given by me

Hand out promo postcards that I will supply

Get a mailing list together for next year seniors (by March 2011)

Sign an exclusive contract (stating you will not be a senior rep for another photographer)

Sign a release form with parent signature if not 18 yrs. old

Get 2 friends to book a session with me before November 2011 or you will be required to pay back your session fee (but by simply posting on facebook/myspace and handing out cards this shouldn't be a problem)

Such a sweet little guy. He completely passed the stage of just sitting and being content, since he basically learned how to sit up and crawl in the same week, but I guess if you stick him in a basket there's no place for him to go! He's such a happy little baby. I simply love him to pieces!

So apparently I have been completely MIA...action being my 4 kiddos that keep me VERY busy!! I promise I still have been shooting away but obviously the blog has become the last on my list. So my New Years resolution is to keep this up with sneak peeks, information, contests, and all the fun new exciting things I have planned for 2010. I don't do weddings yet...but I LOVE taking engagement photos! So fun!! I also helped them design their wedding invitations and they turned out awesome! They haven't sent them out yet, so when they do I'll post it.

It's a new year and along with it comes new changes. A new website, new pricing, and new goodies. Some of my policies will be changing, such as delivering pictures. We have moved to Boise, so I no longer feel guilty about having my clients drive out to pick up their pictures :). More importantly with three kids and one more on the way it's hard to find time to meet up with you promptly after they arrive. Of course there will be good changes as well, such as my referral program. Now every time you send a friend my way, I will send you a $50 gift certificate to go towards future photo shoots! So be watching for the announcement of my new website because with it will come that free photo session!!
